The never-ending battle against woke Hollywood and SJW infused entertainment media [trigger warning]

In the end, the left always eats their own...

How dare she only agree with 19 out of 20 of their platform planks!

Seriously though, haven't they got bored picking fights with Rowling?

I don't agree with all of her politics, but her writing gave me great joy.

But I guess people cannot separate the art from the artist anymore.

WOW... this is a little on the nose, even by Hollywood standards.

You did indeed guess correctly. It's such a beautiful thing to watch. We don't need to divide and conquer, they do it to themselves!

Watched it.
Even more hilarious than i thought it was possible. :D

I don't know how these people can enjoy their lives. They are constantly in fear of making a single misstep. They must tow the line at all times, there is no room for any original thought or viewpoint. They are simply a mouthpiece for the left... download the update and spew it out into the world. NPCs.

Clownfish TV has some good stuff, but they are a bit long winded.

The cliff notes version of this on the blowback of Florida's controversial new bill is that Disney theme parks is relocating a lot of their administrative and imagineering jobs from California to Florida. A lot of these employees don't want to move because, moving sucks if you like where you live.

Note, Disney gave money to people who voted for and against this controversial bill, but a lot of their California employees are jumping on the band wagon of complaining about the bill because they don't want to move.

Some of the people who supposedly quit over Florida's new law, have actually quit before the bill came up.

Disney is more stuff to Florida because A) the tax laws are more favorable there and B) The Florida state government gave/gives them fewer Covid restrictions than California does.

There is a historical precedent for using a social issues as cover for a pragmatic complaint, in this case not wanting to relocate.

Looks like Captain Marvel has a rival in her bid to lead the Woke Female Supremacist Gestapo :p

I partially disagree. She is a teenager (or her character is). Teenager aren't usually leaders. I think both her comic and her show is a misguided attempt to recreate a lightning in a bottle. In this case, lighting in a bottle I am referring to his Spiderman, for most of Marvel's history, Spiderman is the most popular character of the entire publishing company though he was briefly challenged by Wolverine and during the height of the MCU filmverse, Ironman.

Writers are trying to recreate Spiderman's success without understanding why people like Spiderman so much. Just simply giving a nerdy socially awkward high schooler super powers isn't enough.

I cannot re-find the specific video comparing Spiderman #1 versus Ms. Marvel #1.

He posted the first page of Spiderman #1. It was a couple large panels and each panel told efficiently told something important about Peter Parker.

He's smart, he doesn't have a lot of friends, he has a good family life, he cannot impress the girls, he is a bit insecure, and the last panel has him going to an exhibit on "Radioactivity" which back in the 1960s was comic book code for "Cool things are about to happen!"

One page.

Spiderman had one panel where bullies made fun of Peter for being a nerd, and another where he was made fun of for not every getting a girlfriend. Ms. Marvel #1 was over half over when she finally started to stumble into her powers.

Also, as Critical Drinker says, Ms. Marvel doesn't have very clearly defined powers, a compelling internal struggle, or an interesting antagonist.

In my opinion, Spiderman's most compelling trait is his deep internal struggles.
