The never-ending battle against woke Hollywood and SJW infused entertainment media [trigger warning]

Kevin Smith is promising that He-Man is going to be in every episode of his next Masters of the Universe show.

Now, I'm not a big fan of Michael Bay, but he never ever had to promise ("Don't worry, my next Transformers movie will have Autobots in it!").

Going back to the Bill Burr on the WNBA, my Youtube feed is full of response videos to it. Including interviewing feminists in New York, getting them to say that women athletes should be paid the same as men. Then asking them "Do you know the name of NYC's WNBA team?"

It's actually the Lady Liberties. That's a damn good name for a women's sport's team in New York. Gold star for the marketing person who came up with that name.

do you have a link? that sounds like a lot of fun

I got to post this Critical Drinker video before @NIGHTBRINGER does.

I think Marvel Phase 5 will be near identical to Phase 4, they just "ended" Phase 4 because it was getting press but I doubt Disney will take corrective action in time to save Phase 5.

Semi-related note, even if the new Blade movie was given a great director and a great lead actor and was somehow removed from woke politics and executive meddling...remove all the current problems with Disney Marvel and you still have a problem.

You can't make a good PG-13 Blade movie. You just can't.

I severely dislike PG-13 movies. Give me R movies or give me G movies. Anything in between is handicapped in my opinion with very few exceptions.

If anyone had any hope the House of the Dragon series will be any good, artistically speaking, that hope is now shattered. I'd say 0% chance.

It might be financially successful, but I doubt it. I'd say 5% chance.

How can that be possible given that, as a Padawan, Obi-Wan was in love with first Siri Tachi and then Satine, meaning there was never any point during that time that he could have possibly wanted to swing the other way?

First Dumbledore and now Obi-Wan, it's disgusting how these weak-minded people try and mutilate fan-favourite characters purely to please squealing minorities within minority groups.

Do you really think that to cite some lesser canon fact will stop them?
they don't care about the very written words by Tolkien about his world, they just believe that anything can be changed at their whim.
it's 1984 mindset at its finest.
Except for the fact that we are not brainwashed, and despite being the fans with money to spend, we are no more going to eat their crap.

We are not going to believe that Oceania had never been in alliance with Eurasia.

the tolkien fanbase is remarkably united in out right resisting the amazon travesty. very few people are behind it and i think it's going to crash and burn so hard. might make then double think their awful practices but thats wishful thinking

Aren't Jedi supposed to be celibate anyway? It really doesn't matter if Obi Wan thought about banging a woman and then thought about banging a dude. I doubt Obi Wan ever had to spend a long time in someone's room for talking about nonsexual matters.

Jedi celibacy is a stupid rule in my opinion, but it came from George Lucas so it's canon.

Going to Albus Dumbledore. If you have a crush on a dude in your twenties than are celibate for 125 years years, that's not gay. That's asexual.

Anyway, it looks like the Book of Boba Fett was poorly done...on purpose.

I believe Star Wars is beyond saving now.

I believe Star Wars is beyond saving now.

I find it interesting though how she managed to ruin Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi, yet the one bit of Disney Star Wars media she didn't get chance to ruin was Rogue One - true, it has a female protagonist, but she doesn't take away from the male characters as Rey does in her films, she has personality flaws as humans do and she dies along with the rest of the team.

So far it looks as if Gareth Edwards has been the only Disney Star Wars director who didn't allow any shit from K.K. to muck up his creation (the only real change he was prompted to make during its development was to make it less dark, imagine what grimdarkness his original draft had in store for us all...), so the solution is to bring him back.

So if you paid any attention to pop culture news. David Zaslav has shelved the new Batgirl movie despite it being mostly done and having cost at least $70 million.

That is a good sign that WB is turning a corner against woke garbage movies. Here is a detailed analysis of the "whys" and "hows" of this recent move and what the likely consequences good and bad of this are.

Anyway, from Trek to Wars:

Looks good so far, some good actors I know in there, and, like in Rogue One, some nice links to the Prequels such as the Senate scenes and the Phase II Clone Troopers, but I just hope they don’t do anything ridiculous or woke as they appeared to do in Kenobi...
That's an interesting point given that we've seen the Mandalorian, a Disney original character, essentially become what a lot of fans wanted Boba Fett to be (albeit with a pointless additional 'adoptive dad' subplot with the fan-grabbing baby plot device bolted on), while actual Boba, alongside Obi-Wan and Luke, is weakened and humiliated in favour of characters that satisfy THE MESSAGE (Fennec Shand, Reva and Rey).

However, there are exceptions to the rule thus far in that Ahsoka (I can't see them wanting to ruin her character given she's becoming more and more Rey-like and also ticks woke boxes), Vader (who has been given much more of a demonstration of the true extent of his skills and powers in Disney productions than we have seen in the LucasFilm OT) and Palpatine (literally the only reason the Rise of Skywalker grossed as much as it did, with most of the limited praise of the film to this day being directed toward Ian McDiarmid's return to form) have all got off relatively lightly. It seems that only female and villainous male LucasFilm characters have been left relatively untouched by the baleful glare of KK, again to satisty THE MESSAGE.

Only time will tell of course - always in motion is the future (look, I'm quoting the Original Trilogy for once, take a picture while it lasts :p). I honestly hope Andor succeeds, because I liked Cassian as a more gritty kind of hero in Rogue One, and he deserves to be given some more development to join the pantheon of other main Star Wars characters, but then as you imply, trailers can be misleading, as appeared to be the case with the Obi-Wan series, so we can only hope that Cassian can salvage some glory for the endangered species that is strong male characters, as the Mandalorian appears to have done before him.

While I'm not against them smearing a greedy, scummy American business magnate who behaved like a spoilt child during his presidency, fuelled America's retarded obsession with guns and was a close ally of the malevolent, deranged neo-Tsar currently commanding a genocidal war against Ukraine, I would rather that they did it in a medium other than Star Wars, though given the current nature of Disney+ content I'm no longer as surprised as I might have been. Such a pity given the trailer looked great.

Let me guess - Mon Mothma is a closet lesbian according to KK. Given her short haircut it's not entirely impossible, but it's not the sort of thing to be incorporated into family entertainment, you left-wing hedonist monsters.

I noticed one comment below the video that told of how Gareth Edwards was full-on sacked by KK for his defiance against PC-ness, and replaced with Gilroy, who of course has now revealed his true colours as woke (though I'm surprised given Rogue One was still a great film even with his alterations). I'm also shocked that Fiona Shaw has also seemingly become shamelessly woke, another sign that our once-great actor repertoire has become corrupted with woke lies.

As I mentioned once before, it seems the one real course of action we need is to bring our man Gareth back. He understood Star Wars for what it truly was, seemed immune to woke, and knew how to properly bring the 'War' to a Star Wars film unlike others.
