As I've said many times before, I have little to no stake in matched play, so I'm probably not the best person to comment on it.We need some more discussion!
@ChapterAquila92
In matched play, what are your thoughts on spending two skill points for a secondary skill (like giving Block to a Big Guy) versus spreading more primary skills throughout your team? Is it worth it to spend two skills on a "better" skill or have twice as many primary skills at one skill point a piece.
Block is chiefly what I had in mind. It would make a great addition to my Trolls and/or Pump Wagons, but I'm not sure if it is worth taking at 2 skill points a pop. Especially when they could be given some combination of fantastic primary skills like Break Tackle, Guard or Bullseye (for one troll, assuming Ripper isn't in the line up). Some have even suggested Pile Driver for the Pump Wagon, but I'm not as keen on that one. I've also been eyeing Sure Feet for the Stilty Runna, but only if I have left over skill points after hiring Star Players and putting skills on the four big guys.There also tends to be very few skills in the game that you'd really want to pick up as secondary, with the most notable ones being Block (General)
Paving the way for Lord of the Rings to enter Blood Bowl?!Lol, those are the platforms of the goblin King from The Hobbit from MESBG (Middle-Earth Strategy Battle Game)
