I'm pretty sure he means that the builder was just updated with our new point values, and the Dread Saurian stayed at 510. Didn't drop to 420. Pointing to the fact that it is an oversight in the book.

Could well be, but the war scroll builder isn't the official source of points so it's moot until it's updated officially.

Yeah, my guess is it will probably get caught in the GHB errata when that eventually comes out. Until then enjoy the 90 point cheaper DS.
 
Honestly if the dread saurian goes down to 420 points, it will only be a confirmation of the fact that its a total meme. ALTHOUGH for 420 points we are getting an absolute behemoth of a monster. It is ludicrously durable with 35 wounds and scaly skin in coalesced and can be used as a ridiculous road block with the sheer size of its base.

GHB has already been Errata'd to update the Seraphon points. We'd be awaiting a FW update.

Oh I meant the GHB errata itself. Like when they go through and clarify and correct mistakes that people have found in the GHB itself. Though you are right, that it will probably be a FW update, which might be a while.
 
If you want to factor in realms you can use ghur to keep your ds in the top bracket to fight no matter what the wounds. As long as you have the cp for it

30 Prismatic palisade

Kroak softens targets with comet, generates CP, star seer follws behind the big boys, throwing out save increases or decreases as per the situation, also helps generate CP. geminids cuz they are good, and a palisade to help screen for kroak with the 30 wounds of fact disappearing skinks lol

I'm almost sure that the 420 pts was a mistake. GW simply forgot that DS' points were changed along with its battlescroll.
However, it's printed in the last official book, and our FAQ for GHB2020 obviously doesn't cover the DS, so for the moment 420 is its official points cost. So sorry… :rolleyes:
so, i jumped on the wagon and yesterday i did a game with my cheap DS.

I agree with you that its a mistake, but until they fix it, 420 it is. and heaven help other factions if we're wrong

i totally agree with you.
My oppinion is: GW dont put much time in seraphon and that is what happened....
sallies to strong? ok, we nerve them. troglodon doesnt see play and sells less? drop the points.
thats it! No RSE changes, really anything changes. would be harsh to say they are lazy, on the other hand they seem to dislike our faction :(

Our "new" book is the same as the old book, only they took our battalions, split the abilities in half and Then said you have to be coalesced to use these and starborne to use the rest. The entire book while good, was lazy and meant only to force us into buying models that used to suck.
