8th Ed. the battalion skinks

i cant for the life of me figure this out: I bought the lizardmen battalion and I cant figure out how to assemble my skinks. I want to make them regular skinks with a musician, a brave (champion), and a standard. The only problem is the battalion only comes with hand weapons, javelins, blowpipes and shields. Can anyone help me?

This post should go in the modeling forum. But here's my answer nonetheless. If you want to make a group of ranked skink, you'll have to slightly convert the command group. Here's a very useful GW article about making inventive use of the different bitz in the battalion box.

The skinks in both the battalion and skink boxes only come with a champion.
To get the rest of the command group you either need to spring the cash for metal ones or just convert some, an easy way to do the second is by getting a stegadon it comes with a banner option for it's skinks and by green stuffing the giant blowpipe holding hand into a horn or a regular skink blowpile into a flute you get a musitian.
