The Batman: Pics, Videos, and Other Awesomeness

The new trailer for the next Batman movie is out.

You can come to your impressions about this this trailer/movie, before reading mine.

We have had some great Batman movies and we had some terrible Batman movies.

My prediction is that this movie will be okay.

I think it will do moderately well with critiques and audiences and it will not make enough money to not be a flop, but I don't think it will be a block buster.

If five years, no one will remember this. We will still remember the great Batmans and we will still remember Joel Shumacher's abomination but this movie won't leave much of an impression, good or bad.

I have no hard evidence to back up my guess. It is just a guess that my brain fabricated.

I kind of miss Batman Beyond. It had it's flaws, but Derek Powers/Blight is at least as good as the Joker in my opinion.

If the show came out ten years there would be a 1000 memes of "Do you have the slightest idea of how little that narrows it down?"

SJW's saying "You triggered me" to Dave Chappele.

Or flip it around and SJWs are the ones saying "Do you have the slightest idea of how little that narrows it down?" in response "You killed my franchise."

It was not quite as dramatic, but I do like Derek Power's quote, "Now go forth and do damage."

Even the simple "You are idiots."

It's a very memeable show, it just came out too early.

Uh... I have clearly missed something here. Did Lex-Corp move a large business office into Gotham, post-Cataclysm? I thought they were based in Metropolis, in Superman's turf?
Those two characters always have crossovers in the comics, movies and tv shows.

A few of the newer TV shows have LexCorp branches in Gotham. More and more, they are really pushes that he has a multi-national corporation so you got LexCorp logos popping up in Brazil, Australia, Japan, etc.

But for the most part, 95% of LexCorp's holdings are not for super corporate villainy. Just ordinary corporate villainy.

It's probably a crossover. At this point, about half of what DC produces has Batman in it even if it's not explicitly a Batman comic because he is easily the most marketable character DC has.
