test models for my lizardmen army

I started painting up some Lizardmen I got cheap on ebay.
They look really bat if you look closer but I rescued them as good as possible.

These were just a quick paint up to test colors and workflow.

These look cool! That yellow really goes well with the blues. You've done a great job rescuing these.

Not bad, though I think your yellow could maybe use a bright yellow highlight.

Well I changed the skin and scale colors a little bit (the overall color sheme is the same). I already have 4 more skinks and Sauri in my painting table. Hopefully I got them ready next week. The rest of the army arrived too so I will made a painting blog out of this when I finished the first unit.

He looks excellent so far! You could add some scratches to the bones of the shield to suggest some previous fighting

I finished some more lizards, they are now ready for varnishing, exept the sauri and skinks.
The caracters getting names aswel, ´but I hav to do some research first^^

Awesome work love your basing! How did you do that leaf effect?!?!

That leaf effect results from the original basing from the ebay miniatures. Its some kind of small wooden chips glued on the base.
I dont get it off so I just painted it over with my standart basing color. Thats why the base edges looks kinda od these were originally based too^^
