Tabletop simulator for Warhammer Fantasy

Does anybody knows if 8th or perhaps another edition is playable on something like a tabletop simulator? I see that some work has been done on it if you check the links below, but i have never heard anyone about it on the forums. Has anybody ever played Warhammer Fantasy online, and if yes, what was the experience like? I mean, it won't be as good as the real thing of course, but it might be fun as an alternative during these COVID times.
