We all know jungle swarms; many used to play them in the previous edition just to have a 30 wound unbreakable tar pit on one flank (effectively making it impossible to overcome).

But with 7th edition seriously weakening this with crumbling, how do the poor jungle swarms cope?

I’m sure there are some other roles we can have our little bases of doom perform. ;)

I'm still convinced that two swarm bases are a good bet to take out an enemy mage in unit.

Can't be challenged, 10 poison attacks, ItP when approaching...

If they want to shoot them they won't panic and will take away fire from other units. Plus if the unit wants to flee you've got a fleeing unit from some swarms ^_^

i agree with stonehamby,
i once wiped out a chaos sorcerer
with just one lovely spitting,
hissing,biting,scratching,
carpet of death!!! :smug:

Never considered swarms for mage hunting, good concept.

and i already killed a stegadon if just two of them, in one lizards vs. lizards game.
