Thanks man! Yeah, I'm super pleased with how this is coming out, I think this might be the most proud work of greenstuff sculpting I have been in awhile. Especially when speaking of Scale work.Good work, they match the scales pretty fine!
Question: Did you cover his eyes with scales as well? Or will the small circles above the corners of his mouth be his eyes?
Grrr, Imarhil
Going to end here tonight, got both side pieces of the engine to the same spot. I am debating how much more color I add as I want the gold to not be lost / still be semi dominant. Real pleased so far! View attachment 119626
Adding some color to my Lunar Engine, trying to keep to Lunar colors - though I may need to break out a grey or something for a bit brighter color? I want to keep the gold fairly dominant stillView attachment 119622

Thank you so much! I am super proud of the swirls! Best gems I've done I think! The swirling effect is amazing Suds!

Hey everyone! I hope you're doing well today and Happy wip wednesday ! I did a lot on the bastiladon yesterday after priming it, and this is so far the progress as of last night before I turned my hobby lamp off
I started with an alternating color pattern of Khorne Red and Gal Vorbak Red on the shell, from darker in the center to lighter towards the points. I then built up color using Evil Sunz Crimson & Wild Rider Red with dry brushing, on the points of the shell I did a heavier amount to have it stand out a bit more. For the underbelly I began with Corax White and then worked in Rakarth Fleshshade some. After that I then worked in Skrag Brown & Wild Rider Red in a pattern around the legs and sides specifically, keeping the belly more qhite/tan. And then over everything I did a wash of Reikland Fleshshade.
Really pleased with it so far and the direction, I am especially happy and proud of how the greenstuff work looks with paint on it. I think the scales came out really well and quite natural! But always room for improvement
Also @Imrahil you can see the eye a bit better in one of the pictures, though still black from primer.
Also love how it looks with the one section of the Engine, cant wait to see it finished.
Going to work on it a bit more today at some point, and possibly some Saurus.

Man, same lol like, I want to try to replicate it to a Carnosaur or something. I am hoping we get a new Dinosaur Monster. I have another Bastiladon to build, might do the same scheme?I really love that colorscheme
Haha! 3Excellent work! Also, man, how many bastiladons do you have?![]()

Did a little bit of work on my Bastiladon's (still trying to think of a homebrew species name for it) face tonight, not a lot but definitely got it started.
I went over the scales on the Carno head with wild Rider Red and the gold areas with a watered down Retribution Armor. This was also right after a wash of Reikland Fleshshade, so it was a little wet still. Using Corax White as a base for the teeth, undecided how I want to tint them. Aside from the face work I did also tip the spikes/bumps on the back of the shell and tail with wild rider red and then did a wSh of Reikland all over again (hence the wet face when doing the gold, etc).
I can't wait to get back to it, but sadly a migraine is setting in so this will be it for the night once I post this.
I also printed off a Soulbound Character Sheet with the new printer Jess got as a gift from her parents! Very exciting times!View attachment 119868 View attachment 119869 View attachment 119870
Thank you man!He is shaping up great!

So, a very exciting reveal... a very early look at my Lumineth Wind Spirit! My Wind Temple theme is that of Storms, so I thought it appropriate to make my favorite mythological creature for it.
My custom Lumineth Wind Spirit: Aella the Thunder Bird, Spirit of Storms
The name Aella means *Whirlwind*
So far I have built the Great Eagle from The Hobbit that I felt better exudes the energy I was going for: A more aggressive stance much like a raging storm. I then took the back leg pieces of the SoTm and used them as the wing guards (I am planning to maybe add ribbons to them flowing backwards). The lightning comes from the Lumineth Endless spell, so I chopped up one for the mouth (still a good amount left) and used 2 whole ones for the wings.
I still have some armor pieces to add, but over all I love how it looks. Im going to use the left over lightning to give my Wind Mage a Storm Cloud.
