hi, i'm new to warhammer, and decided to start it alongside with my brother
(him collecting TK, me... well, GUESS)
because of low amount of money (or high cost of WFB in poland)we decided to aim for 1k pts
here is my list:

scarvet on carnosaur, LA, shield, Berserk sword

skink preist lvl2 LoB

core:

10x skinks javelins/shield

15x saurus Hw/S FC

special:

stegadon

rare:

salamander

total: 990 pts

what do you think to change? i don't want it to be tailored against TK, because i will use same list against most of opponents (no money for more figures) i haven't bought it yet, just don't want to put money itno sth i won't use.

anyway. opinions? :D

Your list looks pretty good; but as far as best bang for your buck mini wise it's always going to be purchasing the battallion box. That comes with 20 saurus 10 TG 12 Skinks and 8 COR... So it has some things you don't necessarily need, but a box of saurus and a box of skinks is already over half the cost of the battallion box so it's a great deal to get the additional TG and COR. Even if you don't use them it still gives you some flexibility and you can use the TG as fillers if you ever wanted a large saurus block. Looking around on ebay you can get the battallion, a carnousaur, steggie, skink priest and salamander for around $220 US and less if you don't mind buying used minis. I prefer the old salamander anyway.

As far as the list goes; give your scarvet the charmed shield to shrug off the first hit and get the extra handler for the sallie. You can free up some points toying around with your commands and skirmishers versus cohort to shave points. Sharpened horns is nice. Best of luck to you.
