Oh Gods, am I the only one who thinks this fighting technique is just so silly? Probably the one flaw that seem to persist across all the proper Star Trek series (I suppose in honour of Kirk it became a standardised Starfleet Officer fighting style?).

Fighting in Star Trek has always been goofy. The double fist punch is so absurd it is a meme at this point.
