Star Trek vs. Star Wars (and a collection of memes)

I don't know if I phrased it well. I know we have some who like the prequels more than the OT, but I think they are always also Clone Wars fans. Apparently watching Clone Wars gives a deeper enjoyment of the prequel trilogy.

For what it's worth, i like Clones Wars AND i think the prequels are good enough but still not on the same level of the OT.

This meme is not entirely correct, because despite everyone remembering the Prequels for their use of greenscreen, it’s a fact that more models were made for Episode I alone than the entire Original Trilogy. Even when they became more dependent on CGI in Episodes II and III, models were still used for some scenes - the biggest one ever made for the pre-Disney trilogies was one of the surface of Mustafar made for the corresponding landscape shots in III, with the food processing compound methycel used as lava.

I found this meme giving Clone Wars fans a separate category. But I think everyone who says the prequels were as good or better than the original trilogy are also Clones Wars fans.

I don't begrudge the Clone Wars fans, but if a movie requires you to watch a tv series to under X, Y, or Z, it's not a well constructed movie in my opinion. It's a movie with homework.

I’ve not seen all the episodes of the Clone Wars, and while I certainly like some segments, there are others I do not like, much like with any Star Trek series. I’m definitely not a full-on Clone Wars fan as some others in the Star Wars community are, and I always thought Episodes I-III were better than IV-VI right from first viewing the two pre-Disney trilogies, before I had seen any episodes of the Clone Wars.
