Probably the only thing I'm not keen on in Star Trek is the consoles exploding. It makes no sense for an external feature like shields or thrusters to be destroyed, yet it's the console connected to it only by wires right inside the ship that explodes.

Sounds to me like all the factions in the Star Trek universe really need to work on their safety measures :confused:;)

And Star Wars needs safety rails. Every ship, space station, and building seems to have very steep drop offs built in for stuntmen to take dives off of. Seriously, why does the Emperor's throne room have an uncovered hole that leads straight to the reactor?
