So some differences, and some similarities, but I still can't see the appeal of Boba over Jango, given he does bugger all in Episodes V and VI. Of course the Boba Fett series is changing that, but I haven't seen it (and unless Disney+ release it on DVD, I won't be seeing it) so can't say personally whether that would help make him better than Jango.

well, we're on the same page.

...but i fail to see how Kylo vs Darth Maul or Palpatine vs Snoke were a match in the first place. :p

Personally I'm not a fan of either. I don't think they are particularly good characters in their respective movies. Boba was okay in episode V, small role but still decent... he only became a clown show in episode VI.

However, in my mind, Boba gets some small points for originality (in costume design if nothing else). All the stuff that came afterwards (the Mandalorian, Jango, etc.) were because of him and his popularity.

I'm curious how good the Boba Fett series will be.
