Voyager is a good show. But it will never be my favorite because of this. Janeway is a good leader except when she is not. Every time she has to choose between the welfare of the crew and her curiosity/ethics she always goes against the crew. Until the last episode when she is literally an entirely different person.

It bothers me that I can watch Voyager out of order and not lose much. Only three or four episodes change the status quo. Given that this is a linear story with a clear beginning and end, the middle should matter more.

Now I am belatedly getting into Enterprise I have to say my ranking is this.

1-Deep Space Nine
2-The Next Generation
3-Enterprise
4-Voyager
5-the original series.

There is no other Star Trek series.
