This is an interesting way to put it.

I always thought Palpatine's grand master plan was poorly conceived because there were a hundred ways it could go wrong.

That kind of was his Achilles Heel. He insisted on using himself as bait in Return of the Jedi.

In the EU comics, Palpatine loved to use his own person as bait for a trap. He flushed out some rebels on both Coruscant and Ryloth that way. Also he had fun surprising them. "Guess what I'm not a feeble old man, I'm a bad ass force user!" on both cases.

One of the few things Disney did right was the reboot of Ducktales. I did like that Season 3 had a secret villain that the nephews "rescued" but unlike Palpatine he did not keep his mouth shut from all his distaste for their methods (2:30). Even better he went to elaborate efforts to conceal his secret villainy and then his minion ruins it by displaying the logo of the bad guys on his ride.

"(sarcastically) Oh, I suppose you would rather fly around in an unmarked heliocopter?"
"YES!!!"

My second favorite exchange in all of cartoondom not counting Gravity Falls which I don't see how Disney managed to produce something as artistically brilliant Gravity Falls. It's like a flower growing from a pot of dirt.

I'm pretty sure this is a repeat. But I'm not 100% sure if I already posted THIS video. So maybe old memes are like old stories and we should make sure to go back to visit them once in a while.

Hayden Christensen ghost?... HA HA HA!
