  • Captain: Picard (TNG)
  • First Officer: Spock (TOS)
  • Chief Medical Officer: The Doctor (VOY)
  • Chief Engineer: La Forge (TNG)
  • Auxiliary Staff: Data (TNG), Seven (VOY), Garak (DS9), Troi (TNG) and Quark (DS9)
  • Wildcard: Q (Star Trek)
  • Ship: USS Enterprise E (STFC)

  • Captain: Has to be Picard 100%. Perfect combination of tactical genius, diplomacy and . Also he’s the only captain who seems to know how to delegate operations to lower officers under his command, which is what a captain would do.
  • First Officer: I choose Worf here, as he’s honourable, dutiful, a skilled warrior and would be a good ambassador to the Klingon Empire as they seem to be the most unpredictable race in the Quadrant.
  • Chief Medical Officer: I would choose either Bashir, Phlox or the Doctor from Voyager. Probably the Doctor because as a Hologram he can’t catch any illnesses the rest of the crew gets. He’d have to have his mobile emitter, though.
  • Chief Engineer: I choose Chief O’Brien here - anyone who can keep an old Cardassian space station going almost by himself must be pretty good at his job.
  • Auxiliary Staff: I agree Data is an all-round good choice as he can assist in technical matters, combat and logical problems. Jadzia is a pretty good science officer and has nine lifetimes’ worth of experience in everything. Garak has a similar knowhow of the underworld as Quark but also comes with a backbone and combat skill. Reed I chose because he was disciplined and innovative as a tactical officer, and I also want him to have some more screen time and development (and I want to have at least one British character on my ship’. Nog may not be much use now but he has the greatest capability to grow in the future, as he’s just starting out in his Starfleet career. Plus we have to have someone to drive the ship!
  • Wildcard: The obvious choice is Q because he can magic up anything and everything, but I wanted to see a Jedi on a starship, and as an all-round skilled diplomat, Lightsaber duellist and Force manipulator, Obi-Wan is my number 1 choice. Also Q can be very stubborn and is liable to cause trouble, while Obi-Wan is not.
  • Ship: I agree with the USS Enterprise E here because it’s the most advanced and is a particularly large and powerful vessel.

Whoever designed the exhaust port of the Death Star must have designed every square inch of the Imperial class Star Destroyers...

When they finally run out of TIE fighters, They are almost laughably easy to take down in the old computer game X-Wing whereas the "weaker" Nebulon B frigates are much harder to take down. Star Destroyers have three times as many guns but they have around twelve times the surface area. It's hard to make a strafing run on a frigate without exposing yourself to at least half their weapons.
