Mind you, that this is not the same as "who are your top 4 favourite SW characters". I love characters like Darth Bane, Trawn and Darth Maul, but I would never consider them to be SW Mount Rushmore material.

In my opinion the SW Mount Rushmore would be comprised of (in no particular order):

• Darth Vader
• Luke Skywalker
• Yoda
• Han Solo

Mind you, that this is not the same as "who are your top 4 favourite SW characters". I love characters like Darth Bane, Trawn and Darth Maul, but I would never consider them to be SW Mount Rushmore material.

In my opinion the SW Mount Rushmore would be comprised of (in no particular order):

• Darth Vader
• Luke Skywalker
• Yoda
• Han Solo

I would agree with this but replace Han with Obi-Wan, either Ewan version or Alec version. To me at least Obi-Wan was more influential throughout the franchise's storyline. Han helped Luke destroy the first Death Star, but Obi-Wan also had a hand in this plus influenced Anakin's turn to the Dark Side, was the cause of Anakin/Vader being forced into his Cyborg armour, began Luke's training and sacrificed himself to save the rest of the gang. Han saved Luke a second time but after that really didn't do that much to be honest aside from shooting Stormtroopers, and walking/running through point-blank-range blaster fire.

Those are some good points. I must admit that Obi-Wan does indeed have a greater role in the story. I gave Han the nod due to popularity and his (i.e. Harrison Ford's) role in making Star Wars a success in the first place. However, Obi-Wan is a fine substitute.

I'm a traditionalist and I think it should be iconic heroes.

Luke, Han, Leia, and Chewbacca.

I don't think heroes and villains should be mixed. I don't think different trilogies should be mixed.

That's just my opinion, I understand most people on L-O would want to mix their favorite PT and OT characters.

• Rose Tico- valiantly stayed behind while the main cast went off on adventures to study specifications of the resurrected Palpatine's Imperial Star Destroyer fleet
• Jar Jar Binks- mastermind of the Sith rise to power by secretly orchestrating events behind the scenes of all three trilogies and ultimately responsible to giving Palpatine the powers required to take down the Jedi
• Gonk Droid- because GONK
