Wil Wheaton, the actor who played Wesley routinely makes fun of the character he played. Most of the fans who hate Wesley like Wheaton.

I wish Ahmed Best got more respect. He didn't deserve the flak he got.

So I don't remember which Star Wars legend novel it was, but it was one written before the prequel trilogy debuted so "Anakin built C3PO as a child" was a thing.

Leia (as an Imperial Senator) was at the emperor's annual ball and C3PO offended Darth Vader "You must be some new type of guard droid!" and Darth Vader sentenced him to a year of daycare work.

Apparently, that was the justification for C3PO having a bunch of child care books in his memories and he was adequate at watching Jacen and Jaina as little kids, but they still preferred being babysat by Mom, Dad, and Uncle Luke.
