Anyway I immediately thought of light grenades when I learned what Disney is doing with Star Wars: The High Republic.

Why does Hollywood and Disney in particular keep doubling down on woke Mary Sues? Why? Can't you see the giant pile of corpses from everyone else who followed the "Pick Me Up" directions! They keep calling in reinforcements.

I want to say I'm over Star Wars, but when I heard about what they are doing for High Republic I wanted to cry, so I guess I cannot stop caring about it. I wish I had more going on in my own life that I didn't have to put so much grey matter in fictional franchises.

I guess I need to take this as a sign from above that I need to work on my own stories and not worry about other people's stories. Easier said than done, but I think the watchword for media in the Current Year is "If you don't like it, make your own."
