I am concerned that it is made by the same general handlers who created Star Trek Discovery.

But I am genuinely curious about it though, so if someone watches it here I wouldn't mind a detailed review.

STD and the recent Kelvin Star Trek movies have soured me on recent Trek. I'm not going to stamp my food and say "Star Trek was ruined forever!" but I'm not going to watch Picard's new show unless reviewers I trust speak well of it.

It also depends on how expensive the paywalls are between me and Picard.

I figure if I wait long enough CBS All Access will die and Star Trek will be sold to Netflix, Disney, or HBO's rumored new super streaming service.
