Star Trek vs. Star Wars (and a collection of memes)

So, I bought Jedi Fallen Order (on PC).
A few hours in I would give this a solid recommendation.
I like the levels, I like the characters (even Cal grows on me, I initially didn't like him), I like the story and I like the combat system.
It is almost bug-free to boot. I had no crashes or anything.
Bugs I noticed:
- once an enemy suddenly died and I don't know why.
- once an enemy fell off a cliff running after me. Might be a bug or not.
- once I had a poncho clip through my shoulder
- sometimes the lightsaber clips walls without leaving marks

I have very few gripes with the game so far. IMO well worth the money.

I most wholeheartedly agree. I'm still more pessimistic than optimistic. However, even if it turns out to be a complete and utter dumpster fire, I'll still have 8th edition. At first I was extremely worried, but after thinking about it, no matter how badly they manage to botch it up, it still can't be worse than AoS [for me, in my opinion, yada yada yada].

In the meantime, I can have fun with the memes! Plus it is a nice kick in the backside to those people [of which there weren't any on this forum] who kept condescendingly saying that the Old World was dead, and people should move on. There are a lot of YouTube creators (such as miniwargaming] that have to eat a bit of crow now! My excitement doesn't derive from genuine confidence in GW and their ability to potentially revive WFB, but rather tribalism and sith-like "anger" / vengeance (remember I'm Chaos blessed :cool:). Even if the Old World turns out to be a sad facsimile of WFB (and I stick with 8th), at least GW gave me this "I told you so" moment to throw in the face of those select few individuals.

I was actually kind of sad when I first heard the news, until I came across this post and this meme . They changed my mindset.
