I browsed through some stackexchange Star Trek questions lately and they were pretty inspiring actually.
One was about Data (my favourite character together with Picard) and his abilities, and I can't help but imagine how cool it would have been to see some more of his incredible abilities in some episodes, like for example how fast he could have run, how far he could have jumped.
I realized how rarely we see him do such things, like moving impossibly fast etc.
Of course I know why they didn't show that very often (Data is horribly OP if you think about it), I still think that seeing him act the way like super heroes act in Marvel movies would be fun. Let him overtake a car, and jump onto a house, punch through a wall do a card trick by moving his hands faster than a human can notice and so on.
Btw: one of the things the TNG writers really didn't excel in sometimes (and again for understandable reasons) was him showing off his brain. His database and computing power are immense (IIRC at some point they were described as being in the same order of magnitude as the Enterprise's main computer) and he still asks pretty dumb questions sometimes and isn't very knowledgeable at all about many things that I'd assume him to know. Some things that you could read from Wikipedia right now in fact.
