What?
They take one of the most boring characters they have to make a show of?
....meh. will still watch it. Probably it will make him a bit better.

I think it’s great. Rogue One didn’t have enough character development you say? Perhaps this will change your mind. Remember that this series may show how Cassian first reprogrammed and interacted with K-2SO - now imagine what it would be like with the pair of them together going round the galaxy having James-Bond style adventures? That would be even better! And of course, while Cassian wasn’t the main character of Rogue One, he wasn’t portrayed as imbecilic - he didn’t do any Captain Kirk stuff like Poe or try to run away from everything like Finn, he just wants to get on with the job and get stuff done. Also according to my Rogue One visual guide, Cassian was a supporter of the Separatists before the rise of the Empire - we could potentially see some flashbacks in the Clone Wars era from a Separatist point of view where he interacts with Battle Droids, potentially Commando Droids. Perhaps we will find out that Cassian got his experience at working with Droids from performing missions with Commando Droids during the Clone Wars - this honestly has a whole heap of possibilities!

In fact until there’s news of an Obi-Wan film being 100% definitely being developed, this is the one Star Wars thing I’m truly looking forward to. Forget Episode IX - I’m sure our purist friend Abrams will put in a Starkiller Base II or something to really put the sequel trilogy out of its misery. I’m not getting too excited about the continued Clone Wars series yet either because they showed Wesley Crusher’s Star Wars cousin in the trailer - I’m only interested if they’re going to give her as small a part as possible. This Cassian Andor Series is going to be the real swinger in my view, and I can’t wait!

Personally I'm not too interested in this show. Unless it turns out to be exceptionally good, I'll probably pass. I am waiting for the Clone Wars though!

I like anything Star Wars so it is quite likely that I will give it a try.
