I enjoyed the first season of The Mandalorian. I wasn't as satisfied with the second season, because it gradually felt like a vehicle to showcase other characters so they could get their own shows. I think that turned out to be kind of accurate. Although I didn't watch much of TBoBF, I've heard about (and watched online) some of the Mando/Baby Yoda story and I wasn't happy with the rushed story or maybe even the outcome itself? That said, The Mandalorian, as a show in general, has done enough right that I hope this 3rd season will be a good one. Obviously, all trailers try to make their movies/shows look appealing, but there does appear to be more of a story line based on what this trailer teases.

What about the finale? (arrival of Luke)
Oh, I enjoyed that. Luke is my favorite SW hero and it was cool to see him fighting kind of like on the sail barge. I'm not saying I hated season 2, I just thought it was a little weak. But I don't think the (brief) story of Luke and Baby Yoda was handled well in BoBF.

if it's not better than BoBF, it could well spell the end for the Mandalorian.
Indeed, but I don't expect Mando to run that many seasons. Still, it's better to be good regardless. I've not been satisfied with Disney's SW, in general (aside from Mando), so here's hoping.
Most definitely. However, the first two seasons of the Mandalorian have been much better than the Book of Boba Fett (for whatever that is worth).
I agree. Again, the teaser for Mando3 looks pretty good (to me) and seems to hint at a more story-driven season, which I think could be a positive. Plus, lots of cool-looking armored Mandalorians in several trailer scenes. :D

There's still Amy Sedaris as that corny Tattooine mechanic, though.

That is a pretty easy contest.

If Overlord DVD's rumors are true, and they seem to be, The Book of Boba Fett was bad, on purpose because Kathleen Kennedy was bitter towards the comparative success of Favreau.

The Mandalorian epilogue episodes was Disney begging Favreau to put a patch job to salvage the damage KK did to the series.
