Here's the first group of 10 Skinks. I'm trying to keep a minimum color palette, but the details keep calling to me... I mean, I don't hate painting, so I guess that helps!

I don't think I like the Black Abaddon with 'Ardcoat on top for the Skink feet claws. It works on the Trog and Saurus Warriors, but I think the next 10 Skinks I'll try a bone color.

Next up, either painting a Slann or the Balewind Vortex.

They look good, onto the claws if your doing them black you need to add a highlight to make them work on such small models so either grey or tan will work, so go Dawnstone or Karak stone.

Basically looks like painted black and drybrushed with a middle grey:

Well, I went with the Balewind. I've finished the top and bottom pieces of it, but still contemplating what exactly to do with the vortex portion.

Finally got some painting in recently, as my wife has been wanting to paint her new Nighthaunt units. It's enjoyable to do this part together. So, I'm now up to 30 Skinks fully painted. I also finished my Balewind Vortex, and painted my two Blot Toads.

Nice work All around, i Love the contrast on the nighthaunts.

Good looking Skink unit. I would add an extra highlight on the Backscales and the headflap(thingy) just to pop out a bit more.

love your work with the blue.

I prefer stark highlights on deep colors like purple and red. The cloak on the knight of shrouds looks a little spotty towards the gradient. otherwise lovely work.

Here's my Carnosaur WIP. I'm not decided if I like the Ardcoat over the blue in the creases on the neck, yet. I'm thinking of going with bone on most of the spines and possibly his crest, but undecided. Any suggestions for the unpainted areas or what's done so far?
