I have since learned that it when it comes to margaritas, it's what's on the inside that counts.
I heard once you fly first class in an airplane, you can never fly coach again.
In my twenties I really liked margaritas with mid level tequila and your basic sugary mix.
In my thirties I saw a cooking show explaining how they are a cheap knockoff of the original. Triple sec, top shelf tequila, real squeezed lime juice, optional simple syrup if you want it sweet.
I can't go back to the cheap stuff. The expensive time consuming version of the drink is basically the nectar of the gods.
