Moff Hasbro: [alarmed] The Mouse is coming here?
Darth Vader: That is correct, Commander, and he is most displeased with your apparent lack of progress.
Moff Hasbro: We shall double our efforts.
Darth Vader: I hope so, Commander, for your sake. The Mouse is not as forgiving as I am. [resumes walking]

After the metachlorines and Jar Jar Binks, the worst part of the prequels. The rules of the Jedi Order barring romantic entanglements was the stupidest part of the prequels given that Force strength is hereditary, Jedi should encourage their members to have children not prohibit it.

There was no real reason why Anakin's relationship with Padme needed to be secret. The story would have progressed just fine if everyone, good guys and bad guys, knew they were a couple.

As pointed out in the Expanded Universe novels when Han was chastising Luke for not even trying to find a romantic partner "Where do you think little Jedi come from, Luke?"
