AoS Spell markers does anyone got some ideas or pics??

I have one spell/abilities marker.
WIP just looking for more ideas any help would be appreciated.
It's for the serpents staff ability from the skink star priest 20170523_222040.jpg
 
Guess he just put the pole of the standard on a terradon's base... simple but effective! ;)
Looks really cool indeed...
Another idea would be to cut of the lower part of a saurus standard an put it on a base... put some sand around it to hide the gaps and paint and base as desired... finished is a marker for a saurus unit...
The head piece for the guards alpha and the top pieces of their standards can make some nice markers, too... as would their standards...
If you don't want the pieces to be lying on the ground just get some toothpicks to build a rack or glue them to small stones like they were craft in rocks...

Yup straight from the stegadon kit.
The rippers weren't staying on those bases kept breaking off. So I figured I'd use them else where
 
Though should I move this to painting and converting?
 
  • Serpent's Staff Ability = serpent mouth mask on pole
  • Mystic Shield = stack of stone blocks with a spare LM shield on top
  • Oldblood on Carno's command ability = 2 crossed weapons on a totem pole or a stele
  • Summon Starlight
  • Celestial Rites = flat marker, stone texture, stars and constellations carved/incised in surface
  • Saurian Savagery (from the scar vet)
Tidy list ^ with two new suggestions

Plus a third from @PhoenixTheCat

Maybe for the Oldblood on Carno's abillity it could be two crossed weapons.
