Another small quartastic update :D

I had this autocycle since first printbed with Quars, today kiddo asked me to paint more minis and when I prepared everything, he changed his mind... So I told him to play by himself and I slapped some paint on this little fellow. :)

Oh and I also prepared basic Fidwogs for painting.

I really start to love these little buggers and their vehicles.

So are these from some sort of comic or tv series?

Grrr, !mrahil

They were always originally created for wargaming I think, by Josh Qualtieri, but he did manage to get a PS4 game made for them at some point...

Exactly as @Lord Agragax of Lunaxoatl said. Only addition would be that there is also official VR game on steam.

Edit: I stand corrected. It is the same game, just released for different VR headset.

Second bed finished. This time vehicle was smaller, so I managed to squeeze a bunch of minis as well.

And I also managed to secure fan made Morfyd - "HUGE" Fidwog transport (about 185mm or almost 8" long). I ordered filament print of main body and currently working on resin bed with tractor accessories.

That tank is adorable!

Glad your little one is helping too! My daughter has been helping me put sand on bases recently. Really been enjoying that, I am going to need to get a second desk lamp

They some kids enjoy it. :) How old is she, if I may ask?

My little bugger told me upfront couple of days ago, that he wants to paint and have more models than me... Oh that sweet summer child. He doesn't know that I already have about 10 years worth of models in stash. :D

Ah, but you forget, the "have more models" part of that goal is indeed plausible, as your collection will be the sprog's inheritance... unless you have stated in your will that you are to be buried with your collection.

Good point, good point.

But look at technology today and technology 50 years back. One-piece mold Diecast from lead versus 3D printing. I thing that when I get burried, kiddo will be modelling with quantum entangled zero point proppelled permafrost alloys and have no desire to take his old man's plastic crack. :D

Went to modellers club yesterday, yay!

I filled gaps on Isengard troll and started working on counterweight ot Taunar´s too high & too back centered center of mass. Resolution was to drill couple of holes, make big pockets and fill them with lead pellets. That thing now weights about double :D

Next time, I have to fill that pocket with basing.

Also, colleague brought me Morfyd tractor today, so while I had few minutes in work, I quickly assembled it.

Tragedy... I had spreadsheet on my google drive with everything for MESBG and must have deleted it some time back. Number of models, point costs, what model proxies what and most important, paint mixtures! Darn, I know my uruk skin was mix of 4 paint, but I only remember 2 of them...

Oof... That's painful.

I have to have it somewhere on "physical medium" (read scrap of paper) in the office. Since we have to shred everything and shredder is two floors down and usually clogged with piles of paper, I keep all old papers in drawer and do shredding only after drawer is unable to close. It has to be somewhere in there.

This will be me, tomorrow:

US Rangers with SMGs are done. Yesterday I got my hands on new armybook rules for them and I´ll have to rethink whole list...

And so are Pyk Pyks. :)

Since they are all the same, I made different rims to differentiate Coftyran and Crusader ones.

I tried to make some artificial detailing on Isengard troll by making more preshading manually. We'll see how it looks in the end.
