Ouch! Sorry to dissappoint you, but that was post from more than two years ago and went nowhere (couple of posts below)

I tried adding textures to stone, bit unfortunately that was above my skills as Soliworks which I use is not capable of things like that (as far as I know) and tinkerCAD that I used couple of times to modify models for print is lagging when I did just single stel of wall. Right now I hit dead end and might make my engine from XPS after all.

I later did make one realmshaper from XPS, along with progress photos. And even later, I made warcry realmshaper.

Back at modellers club! Tiburon (hammerhead proxy) is drying and I hope I manage to putty some of those gaps near wings today.

Bolt action Germans done for now, until new edition drops (later this month) and few playtests are done. I have some spare infantry in case I need MP40s (as I don't have any) and I suspect I'll need more flamethrowers this edition. But for now, I have infantry worth two armies painted and I'll take break.
2 MMGs, Light mortar with assistent and spotter for medium mortars I painted earlier.

Crisis suits preshaded. They look nice and dynamic, which is something new for me as all my previous attempts ended up either looking like stiff manequins, or some pose impossible to put on base.

Anyways... note for me next time I do another unit. Do thrusters and heads separately, impossible to get into crevices with make-up brush and it is annoying to superglue antenaes back.

Also, next time, magnet those weapons!

Bit more ready for next steps. Pathfinders and nurglings primed, breachers and fireblade preshaded, british waps waiting for details to be painted, tiburon assembled & sanded and speeder (piranha proxy) assembled and waiting for filling of seams.

Cadre Fireblade painted. This one is official one that I bought for 2018 version of killteam. I can't believe I've had it for almost 6 years assembled and unpainted in bits box.



Next to him is lone printed breacher to test out what to paint with which colour.

I really thought that I finished those germans. Then I found box I used to carry minis to and from office about month ago and there is whole unit with assault rifles and some HQ...

Colleague surprised me with lovely package.

And I had some spare time, so I started working on my fourth stegadon.

Yes and no.
I share with him google drive folder where I upload prepared beds with what I want to print and he prints them when he has a window. Since I have long pauses when work loads, I added preparing possible printbeds to my list of activities. Right now I have 9 uploaded and waiting to see what he comes with next time. It mostly comes to one or two beds per month printed so this was something else.

Also, I added magnets to riptide main guns. I had to drill deeper hole as model had prepared slots for two 3x1mm magnets and it barely held at place with two 3x3mm ones. But it is holding now and most of the model is primed as well.

Also, I found out reason why my magnets are so weak. Typically, if there is preparation made for magnets, it is said that you should use N52 grade magnets.

I am cheap bastard who buys magnets in bulk on aliexpress. This time I took a moment to read description.
