Wow! really greatly done job on those mini's. The bases add so much character to the whole.
You powered through these mini's like crazy ;)

something I noticed with the evil minions was the different base shapes, do they have a purpose?

Grrr, !mrahil

Very nice! Love the bases :)
Thank you! I tried new Fanatic range from Army painter. "One coat to cover all... Well, it took 5 coats to get at least good finish. :D

Thanks! I had to power through, because I know myself, once I would get distracted with another project, I would probably had hard time to get back to them. :)

As for bases, I haven't read the rules yet, but I know that circle is group leader and I would say that different shapes are to get specific mini activated by game itself (as there is no "evil player")

I started sketching insert for Stuffed Fables expansion. It should be nice and easy 3 single level boxes and then stopper to middle.

Kiddo´s name day is quickly approaching and while everybody was bombarding us about what to give him and better half spent small fortune on various presents, I decided to go the way of quality.

He has favourite boardgame he just can´t get enough. Translates to "Diamond Forest" where player is one of four dwarfs (gnomes) and you have to find four coloured gems and escape from forest before others. only minis there are four player tokens and those are cardboard cutouts on flimsy plastic standees, so I figured he would not mind an upgrade. :)

After he goes to sleep tonight, I´ll put bunch of tufts on bases to get them nice and all will be done. :)

New game project inbound. Funny little board game kiddo was given, named Max the Tomcat. We played it couple of times and it is funny little time filler where you try to get small animals to safety before cat eats them (please do not use words like devour, or rips them apart with claws and teeth, kids do not like to think about that. :) )

Anyways, animals are only wooden tokens, so I decided for upgrade.

I painted them over last couple of days while supervised by kiddo. Not the best job, but after 4 layers of varnish today, they should be good to play with (and considering tomcat, the biggest one, is size of a skink, not much of details I can do).

Very nice work, they really came to life!

Guess who has more work to do now. :D
Roughly translated as Nut-Fest. Cute game where players take roles of squirrels that need to make winter supply of nuts, but there are also other animals around the tree. Fox and owl can scare them, dropping carried nut and running back to their home.

Also both Max the Tomcat and Diamond forest are now top played games.
We'll see how this goes. Practice game was played after kiddo went to sleep and it can be quite hard as you have to move to colours that are rolled on 4 dice. I swear, first 4 turns my squirrel was either on wrong tree or got some hard stuff, because it was going absolutely everywhere apart from direction I needed it to go. :D

Looks like a neat little game!

It is not 11PM after long day, so instead me roughly translating title of game, I used brain (read google)... English title is Nutventure.

Sounds less kinky too :D

I found really cute animals on cults. When I showed them to better half, she told me that it will look amazing and she is looking forward to how I do nut tokens... There was a moment of silence and I went back to search engine to look for acorns :D
