8th Ed. Slann with Shadows and Salamanders

I played in a little tourney this weekend and wither with Salamander was helping me dominate things.
 
Yeah, he had a horde of khorne warriors with halberds, so I made them T1 and would get like 17 with my template and wound like 15 then he would only be able to armor save a couple and the blasted standard would save a couple too.

A few of the guys at the gaming club i go to have Chaos and in every army is a unit of Chaos Knights,

I might try this one time see there reaction.
 
Sounds great if you can get it off. If I were the khorny, I'd be scrolling (or similar) and charging like hell to close in for combat. :rage:

That is what he was trying to do as well as Gatewaying for the win:)

How did that happen?

Did you get Enfeeblement Wither melkoths and okkams off in one turn?
 
yep and with a slann its not that hard sadly i lost my skink squad shortly afterwards thery became t 1 :rage:

Even with a Slann that is really hard. That means you needed to roll a ton of dice because a lot of the shadow spells are pretty expensive, and your opponent had to fail all his dispel rolls and not have any other magic defense.
 
I m new and i didn't realise how lucky i was any way it was at the end of the magic phase and i cast one with force and it had the thing wich means i dont have to roll mistcast i also think i played some one whose really under estimated magic with only a weak wizard with one scroll whose ended blowing him and a huge amount of maurders with him the match was very short i killed his army really in turn 2 but was too stubborn to amit defeat until i wiped his chaos lord of the board
