I was wondering what unit people put their Slann in most: Temple Guard or Saurus?
 
I'm going to try a lone slann army next time, but last game I put him in a saurus unit that was immune to pychology. It ended up freeing like 110 points or something. Just don't get flank charged.
 
I have settled on temple guard, I love the stubborn and also the versatility of having shields and halberds.

It does cost a lot but then again you are getting a lot :)
