AoS Skinks Wording

So, I'm starting to get into Skinks and I have a question regarding the wording and, in general, how multi-model units weapon configs work. Does the wording for Star-buckler: "When you make save rolls for a unit carrying Star-bucklers..." indicate that not all the models need to have the shields for the whole unit to benefit from the -1 rend ignore? Or does the ability only apply to the models bearing the shield?

Similarly, if I have a unit of 20x Skinks, 10x with shields and 10x with clubs, do only 10x get club attacks?

Pardon the newbie question, but the clarification will help me to know how to assemble my Skinks.

Not necessary.
Someone in the future could search and find the answer more easily here.

In short:
It isn't allowed to mix weapons within a unit unless the warscroll explicitly allows it, which is rare.
