Hello everyone, I would like some opinions. I am running a Skink Chief BSB on a Stegadon with the War Spear. I put him in a unit of saurus and he hasn't been using his spear at all. Is there a better build for him? I don't want to use the frenzy banner because my opponents will bait him past the saurus move range and he will be by himself. War drums? A different magic banner?

well for one if you take a magic baner you can't take the war spear and i wouldn't put him in a unit just run him in between two units of saurus so they can benefit from the banner and he can still charge a unit either ahead of the saurus so they can get also get a charge or he can counter charge

I think he was looking for alternatives, not an addition to the warspear..
First of all, is there any specific reason you want to put the stegadon in a saurus unit? It makes the steg incredibly slow and if it negates the warspear it is also negating the steg's impact hits in general, which make it deadly in the first round of combat. I would definitely use it seperate from a saurus unit.
If you really want to keep it there, any kind of magic weapon that the skink can take would be an ok choice to boost his ability in combat. Or the banner that gives you +d6 charge distance, then you might be more likely to get the charge off and at least get impact hits.

Just to clear up alittle confusion, I don't want to use the War Spear or the Frenzy banner. I am looking for alternate options. As for putting the Stegs in saurus, I am aware of the negatives. I want them there for the stubborn and the terror, plus I am doing a Itzl theme so saurus fighting next to dinos is really cool!
