Personally, I don't like those Hellpit Abominations at all, but everything else seems pretty nice.

I saw these a couple days ago.. Personally I'm not going to form too much of an opinion until I have seen better photos and from different angles, especially of that HPA. I don't know why the WLC is up on some kind of flimsy structure though, it looks unstable and like it should be closer to the ground. I guess the designers just really wanted to exploit TLOS.

Oh no.... There's a few skaven players at my store that don't run HPA's simply because they don't want to have to convert something. This does not aid the cause of the Old Ones at all...

That's my guess too.

it may be just me, but I think HPA looks kinda like Trygon. a very ugly one

@ Srewart and Juhaaha The rumours that have pervaded the internet have strongly suggested a joint Plague Claw Catapult/Warp Lightning Cannon, and this picture really shows that idea being implemented. Personally I agree and I will go out and buy up all the current WLC's I can find cause they look much cooler to me.

Also the A-Bomb really looks hideous in these pictures, and not the awesome kind of hideous so I will wait for more and better pictures as well before finalizing my judgments.

Yeah I know it is a combined kit, and I am fairly well in favour of that especially since it seems both could be made from one kit very easily, however, after deciding to do a combined kit, if oyu reach a point where one of the options looks stupid then you really should reconsider combining them. Or plan better.

Just making sure you knew (although I'm not really sure why I even thought it would be possible for someone not to know).

Although, now looking at the picture more, I kinda like the cannon part a lot. Buy two boxes set up catapults and make some small conversion for the cannons base.

Btw, did you notice that cannon has a chariot base? that means that if you get unit close enough the cannon, it cant pivot in that direction, effectively reducing it's shooting area

yes I suppose that is true, but if I have a unit that close I'm going to be wanting to put it in combat anyways (which stops it from shooting entirely)
