Title: But why feathers?
Scene: Group of Empire soldiers struggle through the jungle. They have brightly coloured costumes and feathers, but are ankle deep in swamp water and look unhappy.
Camera pulls back to show two skinks watching them from the bushes, Skink 1 is the skink from “A contest of ranged attacks”, Skink 2 is a regular skirmisher.
Skink 1: “Why do they wear feathers?”
Skink 2: “Do not know. Why do you wear feathers?”
Skink 1: “Symbols of status, and divine favour from the Old Ones. Perhaps they hope their gods will protect them too”
Skink 2 glances up at the soldiers again, we see they have moved only a short distance forward and are now next to some large jungle plants. Then looks back to Skink 1.
Skink 2: “Do you think it works?”
Both skinks turn with alertness to look towards the soldiers again but camera stays on them.
Off screen, Kroxigor: “RAAAAAAAAGH!”
Also off screen, Empire soldiers: “Aaaaagh!”
“Aaaaagh!”
“Aaaaagh!”
Skink 1, turning back to Skink 2: “Nope”
