Ok played a few games now and the tree folk are a pain in my ass lol
Played 1500 points im using
Eternity warden
15 man saurus guard
2x 10 man saurus guard
Scar vet on carno
2x 2 salamanders
Skink priest.
The tree terrain has killed many guard and darthulu can be rough to fight. Ive teleported my carno and used the skink priest on him so he rerolls charges and saves. The carno comet works decently.
But what are peoples opinions on terradons with bolas i like them more the the spears and should i get a bastilidon?

I think Saurus Guard are probably not ideal against Sylvaneth. Those trees are very mobile and they can cause mortal wounds.
I'd probably go for a Skink army. Their better movement means that the chance of standing near or between trees getting hit by their stuff is much lower. You also get more wounds for your points which means you can stand those mortal wounds longer I guess. Shooting doesn't hurt either because many Sylvaneth are not exactly good at shooting. The obvious exception are Kurnoth Hunters and those are expensive now.
If they still bring those: snipe them if possible.

Rough idea for a list I would try (still a few points left and you could of course play Rippers instead of Terradons and so on):

Allegiance: Seraphon
Slann Starmaster (260)
- General
- Trait: Great Rememberer
- Artefact: Incandescent Rectrices
Skink Starpriest (80)
Skink Priest (80)
- Priestly Trappings
- Artefact: Prism of Amyntok
40 x Skinks (200)
- Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
10 x Skinks (60)
- Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
10 x Skinks (60)
- Boltspitters & Star Bucklers
6 x Terradon Riders (240)
- Sunleech Bolas
10 x Chameleon Skinks (240)
Shadowstrike Starhost (170)

Total: 1390/1500

@Aginor I like your list, I will play vs sylvaneth and my friend use 3 treelords in a 1500pts army. I was thinking about something similar, but maybe with only 3 rippers which won't kill any treelord but maybe the Kurnouth or a branchwitch. and add 3 salamanders for the rend.

Three Terradon riders are much better than many people think, especially now that they got cheaper. Rippers are also nice of course.
My main fear would be that it might not be possible yo kill those treelords that easily and everything in the list is pretty squishy.
What you can do is insta-kill one or two of the big trees by teleporting half of your army there so they cannot use their tree spells, then hide on some terrain piece to become more durable.
If you can shoot his Hunters and damage the Treelords well enough so they lose some attacks you could pull it off. Dryads will not catch you without buffs. Try denying them access to Wyldwoods if there are any.

But this is just theory, I haven't played against Sylvaneth yet (although I actually own some).

I 'd say Skink them up. Just keep them stacked in combat with skinks while you do your job. Units that can't die should not be focused. I do the exact opposite : ignore them as much as I can while keeping them busy. Deal with the 1 if you have 2 and kite the 2nd. You just need to do really good placement / moves !

If you're fighting Sylvaneth, use fire. Lots of fire.
Mass Salamanders list incoming!

I find that a Bastiladon, especially buffed up with Priestly Rites, Arcane Shield, and possibly Starlight, are quite good for keeping a big scary model, like a Treelord, tied up in combat until you can deal with it.
