Tutorial Seraphon Overview (updated to AoS 3.0)

35 wound in Coalesced, extra jaw attack! Buff it with skinks and heal with spells and Lifeswarm. Think it actually can be a nice tarpit with some decent dmg output!
I think that can do really well for LGS and community games. I am dubious of the Dread Suarian's performance in the current meta. DoT will remove it in a turn.

There's no doubt there. I bet he'd do well against horrors though, if you buff his hit. Is there a general +1 to hit we have access to somewhere?

Use the once per game ability, Horrors now have 5 bravery. Hit them with him, or him+buffmeleeskinks. Could wipe a unit pretty easily.

He's not the killiest, but he does still help Skinks and his big ability is interesting. It's not a single unit, which is nice.

Love it.

35 wounds is the GOD of distraction carnifex.
this is probably it's biggest value, yeah it might get killed in a single turn, but that's a single turn in which everything else is left alone. And with 35 wounds & our healing it's not like your opponent can take half-measures. The only way to go is overkill.

I don't think it's been mentioned, but you can take a scar-vet on carno in a firelance battalion. It looks like scar-vet is in bold meaning it's a keyword unlike how oldblood and sunblood are not for the sunclaw battalion.

Which means with a koatals claw firelance battalion you can fit in a slann/kroak, Scarvet on carno, sunblood, AB, starseer and starpriest or replace the Kroak/Slann with an oldblood for every single buff possible.

Yep, this is the same as the old book. You can take the ScV on Co or Carno.

And with scaly skin it could take a little :D

For the same price as dread you can take 6 salamanders and they will delete anything you point them at, except largest hordes and toughest monsters/heroes, if buffed properly. And they are 34 wounds combined.
The downside of the six salamander unit is that you have to own six salamander mini's:(.

I mean, Salamander packs are succeptible to battleshock....
They're great, and I really like them.

BUT BIG DINOSAUR NART.

they're also super easy to cause battleshock on, unless you have cp to burn.

They seriously need the handlers to do something besides triggering battleshock...
