You’re very welcome - glad you’re enjoying it! This thread actually sat unloved and without any replies for quite a long time after I created it, and it was only when I stumbled upon @DeathBringer125 and @Paradoxical Pacifism discussing the presence of RPs in the forum that I decided to mention it to them in the hope that they’d be interested, and they certainly were. I thank them and all the rest of you for your support and interest in reviving this most noble art. :)
 
And as that seems to be the last post of the first day, the first night has begun! I will set aside the next couple of days as night-time - only the assassin may act during these next couple of days, and they may only do so through PM'ming me on their chosen victim and method of death, which I will reveal the day after (I can quite easily set aside some time to post on Tuesday or Wednesday I think). If they either decide not to kill anyone during this allotted period or fail to decide in time, I will instead post that the night passed without disturbance and the next day in story time will begin as normal.
 
Sorry for the delay chaps, been busy again.

It's Day 2 and I'm afraid that there's been a casualty during the night - poor old Y'ttar Scaletail, stabbed in a way a Skaven assassin would be proud of!

I was honestly willing for you to do better in this game after your alleged history of playing Scum and Villainy, but alas it wasn't to be.

Now the remaining delegates must vote on who they think the killer is - simply reply to this thread with the name of the player you think was responsible for the tragic death of Y'ttar's bombastic character by the deadline (I'll give you until next Wednesday), and the player with the most votes will have his character exiled from Calderon by an extremely miffed Lord Ravensden. I look forward to seeing who you vote for!

Also...only exile? Should blooming well lynch them and hang them from the walls in bits!
 
Is it possible to ‘vote’ a lack of a vote and for that to be able to count towards a majority, as it seems a bit odd for everyone to abstain but only one say yes, but then for that one yes to be the sole driving factor.

I would like everyone to vote if they can, and if less than half have voted by Wednesday, I'll keep the vote open until all except one or two have voted.

It is a purely RP oriented vote, Tisk has seen the way Schur acts around, being drunk and innapropriate. And then, the other suspects would be King Gheleon and Count Defleur, both esteemed members of their own society, and Cordelia, which Tisk has learned to appreciate during the dinner last night. By simple, emotionally biased elimination, Tisk will point at Schur and say that this lazy, drunken man probably did it.
 
My character would think Barbissar Tisk. Though Defleur absolutely hates Schur he woul vote Tisk because he thinks Schur is to stupid or pathetic to do such a thing himself and doubts he is intelligent enough to pull off an assassination so well. He would suspect Tisk due to his more warlike nature and suspects he may want to wipe out members of other nations to further his own goals.
 
It’s now Thursday and only two have voted! Still waiting on @ravagekitteh, @Vosrik and @LizardWizard to cast their votes.

I understand @Vosrik hasn’t been seen on the forum for quite a while, which is a shame, but I will see what you others vote first. If Vosrik doesn’t turn up within the next few days, I will use his vote as a decider if there is a tie, and will use a random wheel machine generator thing online to decide who is to be exiled.
 
Echard Schur would vote for Tisk. Not for any greater reason than he is petty and would suspect anyone who suspects himself.
 
Are we suppose to be roleplaying the voting and such in the main forum?

Like you are you going to have the guards gather us in a room and then we all make our case?

That’d be good - first I’d expect some posts from some of you where your characters wake up and hear of the murder before meeting in the Great Hall.
