AoS Saurus based list

Good morning all,

I am wondering how reliable is a saurus based 2k army for competitive play?

I am playing now a TQ army and I know it considered the best battalion we have, but I would like to try to something different. I am not experienced enough yet but I think an army based on saurus guard or warriors with a big number and a Slann to summon extra unit could be good.
Anyhow, I don't seem to find the right balance to make list.

Does anyone run saurus list here? And what are your experiences with them?

they arnt very good at the moment you'r best bet if you do want to run them is a fire lance or a sunclaw in a fang of sotek mega battalion. i ocashanaly run the latter using a astrolith and a scarvetran on carno to fish for explosive hits and a prist to keep everything alive

honestly at 2k (standard Matched play events) points Saurus are not competitive. you can play them and occasionally win and have fun at your local game store... but no competitive list right now uses them.

this is subject to change in the near future, as the 2 wound knights are now within 10 points of Skinks which as Erta said, makes Firelance better situated for combat than it was before.
