I don't remember who the ghost-green samurai was exactly from the 5th season, but boy does he look cool.

Not exactly Samurai Jack, but pretty epic story nonetheless:

Sasai Masayasu.

This painting, whose title translates to essentially "Spearman vs. 50 Muskets."

Story:

Samurai Sasai Masayasu, a retainer in the employ of his daimyo master (Oda Nobunaga) is participating in a raging battle between the forces of his daimyo master and the daimyo's brother in law (Asai).

During the climax of the battle before the brother-in-law's army fled in retreat, Sasai and his samurai band fought the entire way up to the enemy general's tent. His remaining bodyguards dead and strewn around him, Sasai did what only a truly honorable samurai could do: he charged! Directly into the enemy general's tent, and was met by a volley of 50 simultaneous musket bullets from the general's bodyguard. The volley hit Sasai Masayasu full in the chest, splintering his armor and knocking him off his feet as he uttered a final warcry of defiance. The legend of Sasai tells us that the enemy general was so shocked by the bravery of this samurai that he decided to turn tail and run.

Pretty epic.
