AoS Salamanders put into use

Hello once again fellow lizards,

What I would like to ask this time is how do you people use Salamanders besides Thunderquake host.
While they are a pretty interesting unit, each one of them only has 1 attack which can easily fail - especially without hit rerolls, or even after that at wound since it is a 3+ which is not bad but definitely hurts at one attack.

The only guess I can think of is having them close to a BSB - which to be honest kind of binds the way they can be used although still useful ?

Put them on an objective behind your saurus warriors. Shooting into combat will help your saurus out immensely. Or use them for crowdbusting with some Krox. With the handlers nearby, the ktox reroll wound rolls of 1. I think because of potential damage output you would be wise to use them as monster hunters. I personally prefer the razordons. But the slamanders can be quite effective.
