Umm... they all look awesome! It's hard to pick a favorite b/c there's something I really like about each. I guess the first one (with the teal skin) is my top pick. I don't know if that's boring b/c it's the standard seraphon scheme, but it's such a lovely color. And that bright white crest really pops. I can't remember, but do you use any "standard" GW methods or paints. If so would you be willing to share the steps or colors used.

GW I used gulliman blue for the scales and Baharroth blue for some highlights but the main body was done with scale color caribean blue!

Even the tiny triangles have multiple blended colours in them, even though they're basically the size of the width of a tiny brush!

Of the three skinks you painted, I liked them in the order you posted them.

1) The blue skink looked the best to me, nice classic look with a beautiful jade weapon

2) The second is probably the most visually interesting with the nice green body and red eye

3) Third one was the darkest, still looked good if you were going for a "grimdark" skink, but when put up against the vibrant colors of the first two it doesn't seem quite as awesome.


In any case an entire army painted as any one of these three would look amazing simply because @Xlanax_lot was the one who was painting them :artist:
 
Hi Guys!

Sorry I have been quiet for a long time, however I have been working on a couple of things that I believe you are going to like.

One of them is a custom Seraphon / Lizardmen Hero Sculpt that I will be printing and casting, so super excited for that.

Initially I was going to just print if for myself as a custom hero, but some friends are asking me for a copy all-ready, so if enough people want it .... sure! I can figure out a way to do a batch of them for the people that like it! It would be great!

Jeje I am sure we can find a subtable replacement for the Gulliman Blue! Some of the new colors look pretty awesome

Also, since I started posting updates on this guy, I have received some requests to do copies of him, so I will try to do a one time batch (it would be pretty cool to have you guys play with my mini haha).

The most expensive part of this process is the master print for casting, therefore wether I can make the copies or not and the pricing of the mini will depend entirely on the amount of copies printed!

This part looks a tad weird IMO, the way the scales on the neck just end rather abruptly.

I’m thinking that’s a side protrusion sticking out from his lower jaw, while the whole throat area of the neck has the smoother surface of smaller scales.
