The colours look really good together, any idea on basing yet?

This looks aweaome so far. That dark Grey blends into that white so fantastically. The red shield is just so cool. Amazing work here!

Really like you approach to color and shading on this one. :artist:

Wow that´s pretty nice! Real nice blending all around!

Thanks man!

I haven't thought much about the base yet... Any suggestions?

Thanks! I am still trying to get the hang of painting taking into acount lighting

Your work is absolutely exquisite Xlanax_Lot! These are hands down some of the best painted models I have ever seen. The bases are gorgeous as well. Please keep up the good work!

I might add some grass to the base but other than that he's pretty much finished.

As I mentioned before I was trying to play with lighting and get a super unique color scheme for him!... Hope you like it! And advice is always welcomed

Great use of shading to represent light, only advice I can give well more of a suggestion is add shadow onto the rock he is stood on.

I think this is your best work to date, excellent detail as always. ;)

Both are stunning.

Personally I like the second one better. He overall looks like he has "warmer" tones than the other one, and I like the green/jade spikey bits. And the skulls. And his eyes. Everything really.

Thanks for posting!

Very, very nice use of glazes here. It's got more personality than the previous one thanks to OSL as well, the armband sticks out very well with the colour scheme you've chosen - 2 dark colours, which makes it difficult to manage while keeping the mini readable for the eye… Also the veins on the shield are finer than on the green one. Awesome work, says sir Archibald Kudos: :pompus::pompus::pompus::pompus:.
One question though: why did you choose not to include some little highlights on the shield's motifs? I reckon that would be in order to avoid blurring the marble/jade effect, yet I suppose I would've tried a very light edge highlight on the designs anyway, of course not as bright as the veins so that the designs would stick out without creating too much confusion. But maybe it's impossible… Care to give me some insights? :)

Simply inspirational. From start to finish! Glad I took a look in here!
