I'm sure you would have gotten a pretty hefty sum for your miniatures, but glad you decided to stick with them. It means we will see more of your paint jobs!

Don't worry about how long stuff takes you your models are fantastic, I'm the opposite I want to slow down my painting to improve but I'm too impatient.

I wanted my cold ones to look different to what you usually see, that is where this color scheme comes into play. It is still on the works but You get the idea.

If you have any sugestions or tips it would ne great! I am not too sure about the head yet.

Here are some pictures:

Looks great so far, scale colour?

Thanks man! For the scales I used a mixture of green, black and brown but I still to work a little more on them as they are coming out really flat.

Very nice. I think you've achieved a very realistic natural tone. Love the red around the mouth... nice touch.

Thanks! Yeha I wanted to switch a little from my usually bright color schemes... The guy on top is still going to be somewhat bright

Wow this looks really cool! Can't wait to see them with a bright rider on top! They are going to look awesome!

Thanks that would be great. :) So how to do the skin? Primed black if I see it right and then? Don't say you used an airbrush!;)

Hahah not at all as @Crowsfoot mentioned I dont use airbrush (YET!!)... I have been wanting yo start for a while now

This is what I did for the skin:
COLORS:
-Black
-White
-Brown
-Yellow
-Bone
-Dark green

Process:
It is all abot layering.
-Start by priming black
-Basecoat with different tones of dark brown (the closer to the belly or the legs the darker)
-Than use dark green to basecoate the escales and a mixure of brown and green to soften the transition
-Than do four diferent layers
--light brown
--light brown with yellow
--light breown with bone
--bone
Hint: use the black and the white to "tune" the colors to the apearence you want.

Make sure to leave some strong contrasta and to only highlight with the bone the higher parts of the model.

Hope this helps
