Those runes do look kind of elvish. Could they be from the upcoming Slaanesh book? They might be spears or ballista bolts?

That definitely looks like an Ogre weapon to me, if you look at the hammer-like weapons wielded by some of their existing models:

But I can't see why GW would release a new Ogre model soon when Ogres got their newest Battletome last year.

Could be Ogres again, as those horns seem to be nailed onto meathooks which Ogres like to have with them, or it could be something Orcish.

These last two Rumors do give Ogre vibes. There are still two unrevealed battletomes left for summer and autumn.

Ogres already had theirs last year:

The only faction that has not had a 3rd Edition tome announced now is Flesh-Eater Courts, and surely GW would have announced theirs by now along with the rest?

I hope one of the unannounced tomes isn't Flesh-Eaters, because that would just build up unnecessary excitement.

To be honest I'm not surprised that Vampires are getting their new one so soon, they're one of GW's favourite AoS factions.

I've just been cruising TGA's Rumour Thread and noticed that a fair few members have been chattering about FEC getting a large release as one of those unannounced Battletomes. I really hope this isn't true, not while Fyreslayers are in the greatest need of a second wave of all the AoS factions.

But then, Flesh Eaters are also Vampires, so I wouldn't be at all surprised if GW decide to piss me off by giving them priority.

Could definitely be either, but the larger, ridged tentacle plus the shots of at least one tentacled Tyranid in the 10th Edition announcement trailer certainly makes me think it'll be a servant of the Hive Mind!
