I very much agree with that. Almost tempted to start Necromundia because of it.

Well, i love desert-like settings, and i'm tempted to buy those pieces only to give more life and variety to my 40k gaming boards.

This means all the Rumour Engines from January and February has been solved already, while in the meantime a lot of Rumour Engines from 2021 en even three from 2020 haven't been solved yet. Interesting tactics.

Very interesting. Assuming it is for ze lizards, it could either be a spear or javelin, and I'm leaning more towards a spear, which indicates something saurus, to my mind at least.

Possibly I guess, although Guards use Halberds, and that looks more like a spear - they could change that of course, or have Guard be able to have more than just Halberds.

It definitely looks like something for us, I would say new Saurus Warriors though, as the Temple Guard are a newer kit (from 7th Edition Fantasy) with less need for replacement and are equipped with Halberds as @ASSASSIN_NR_1 has said, whereas this is definitely a spear, and Saurus Warriors are an older kit (from 6th Edition Fantasy) that many people have said need revamping in recent times.

Still looks Imperial though (as an Auspex is an Imperial device), and definitely something non-Guard as that hand is wearing an armoured glove. Might be Sisters of Battle (again ) or perhaps something to do with the Horus Heresy.

It bears some resemblance with those. Both are from a leader model.
This leads me to believe it is not part of a normal unit.

I'm inclined to agree that this specific spear is likely a leader - probably, a Saurus Scar-Veteran on Cold One (with weapon options). But, I am remaining hopeful that they revamp the line, and this specific spear is an upgrade (Eg. Saurus Knight Alpha).

I'd call knights instead. Don't @ me, unless it happens to be the case, so @ me.

However, don't jump so fast to conclusions, this might as well be a Votann spear (less likely in my feelings, but we are cold-blooded around here, remember?)
